  • Arezou Ward: 30 inpatient beds

  • NICU: 60 beds

  • Post-NICU: 22 beds

This center provides specialized care for both full-term and preterm (premature) infants, including high-risk and critically ill newborns with respiratory complications or other medical conditions requiring hospitalization.

Equipped with the latest medical technologies and staffed by experienced neonatologists, pediatric residents, and specially trained nurses, the unit operates 24/7 under direct supervision of board-certified neonatal specialists.

Advanced equipment includes:

  • Mechanical ventilators

  • CPAP and SIPAP systems

  • Total body cooling systems

  • aEEG monitoring

  • Phototherapy units

To prevent infections, all neonatal supplies and connections are single-use. In high-risk deliveries, a neonatal specialist is present in both the delivery and operating rooms.

Mother–Infant Support: A fully equipped 24-hour maternal accommodation room is available to allow mothers to stay close to their newborns.

Visitation Policy: NICU visitation is limited to parents only, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, to maintain a sterile environment. In special cases, mothers may be allowed extended presence for feeding and care under physician supervision (Kangaroo Mother Care).
